The staff became hostile when we questioned their reasoning and refused to even comp us for the labor (3 minute installation) of a part THEY broke. We had them remove the filter. Any filter is easy to install and cost roughly $15. Save your time and money.
Gray's has taken excellent care of our cars for sixteen years. They communicate well, are thorough, and have worked on everything beautifully from an aged BMW to a Ford Ranger to a 2000 New Beetle. They perform inspections and have helped us out in emergency situations, trying to get a battery or alternator replaced, understanding how much we rely on our vehicles. Will not take our cars anywhere else!
I called at 7am on a Friday morning to see if I could get my truck in with a coolant leak. They said sure, without even mentioning they didn't open until 8. I took it in and told them I was planning to leave town after work in the truck and needed it fixed if at all possible. They bent over backwards to track down the part and made sure it got done, all the time being polite, friendly, and professional. I will most definitely go back.
A customer for over 10 yrs, I feel I'm always getting good (and cost-sensitive) advice from Gray's. What they fix is fixed. It's easy to schedule appointments. And there's this fancy new text-messaging system on diagnostics. What's not to like? Five stars for sure.
During an oil change, they removed and broke the cabin filter. Before we could give staff verbal confirmation to have the part replaced, they installed a new one and attempted to charge us $80.
They are always honest and up front about repairs. I totally trust them to advise me on what's best. They give me up the whole picture but help me prioritize repairs. Communication is great, and service is quick. I highly recommend!
